Background & Challenges

It is one of the largest aquaparks in Poland. The aquapark opened its doors in 2024 and features 21 swimming pools. The facility includes numerous attractions such as water slides, children’s pools, recreational and swimming pools, saunas, and much more.

To meet the high filtration demands of such an extensive complex, a total of 52 filters have been installed, providing a combined filtration surface area of approximately 107 m².

Description of backwashing procedure calculations

Economic and Environmental Impact

Both devices were successfully implemented and commissioned at the beginning of 2024. The savings are calculated based on 2025 price levels and already demonstrate substantial results. Each unit contributes to significant reductions in water consumption, energy usage, and CO₂ emissions. Larger units achieve a faster return on investment due to their higher operational capacity.

The estimated CO₂ emissions savings related solely to water heating amount to approximately 115 tonnes per year.

Conclusion and about Ultraecoswim device 

To ensure even distribution of the filtered water, the facility has installed an integrated OEM distribution system, which is a part of the Ultraecoswim device. The system supplies various compensation and buffer tanks and operates fully automatically. It can be adjusted either directly by the operator on-site or remotely via the control interface. The distribution add-on was ordered at the beginning of the project and was delivered as an integrated component of the system’s software.
